from the Kouvola Entrepreneurs Association. The owners Jorma and
Irma Uusi-Jaakkola received badges of merit for 30 years as entrepreneurs. |

Company ends muffler manufacturing and decides
to change into tank manufacturing. Aluminium has become more and
more popular and learning the methods to handle aluminium form
the ground to shift into using aluminium as raw material in production. |

Cold warehouse of 200 m2 was completed. |

Kovi Oy invested in new production facilities
and started transformation into automation. Aluminium was chosen
as an alternative raw material for tanks. |

After completing the expansion of office space

Company starts selling spare parts to heavy transportation

passenger cars. Company starts manufacturing mufflers to heavy
transportation vehicles and machines. Steel tank production continued

Company was changed into Co.Ltd. Together with
office space expansion the total space is now 600 m2. |

Kovi Oy purchased a production line from a bankrupt’s
estate to manufacture mufflers, exhaust pipes and various steel
tanks primarily to heavy transportation industry. A new estate
was completed and Kovi Oy moved into Kouvola. |

Company’s line of business became selling
and installing mufflers to personnel cars. The company rented space
in Kouvola. |

Jorma and Irma Uusi-Jaakkola founded Kovi as
a commercial name. The company installed paper industry machines
in the Nordic countries.
